Welcome to the Stephentown Hotel! This is the Studio Apartment, Apt. # 2. Has a private entrance with parking right outside. Private deck with Adirondack chairs.
We are located minutes away from Jiminy Peak Ski Resort in the world famous Berkshire Mountains and the Taconic Mountains! Right on the NY / MASS border in beautiful Stephentown. Surrounded by nature and serenity. Every stay includes water bottles, granola bars, oatmeal packets, coffee and tea!
Brand new everything! Full kitchen, King sized bed, Queen pullout couch in addition to a sofa sleeper in the living room. Bathroom has a beautiful tiled shower. Culligan water treatment filtered throughout the house. 5G Wi-Fi throughout the apartment.
Two arcade games: X-Men & NFL Blitz!
We have two outdoor amenity spaces. They feature two fire pits, BBQs, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, cornhole and misc backyard games. We include firewood and fire starter in every apartment. The two outdoor spaces are shared between the four apartments.
**All reservations from May 1st to November 1st include a S'mores goodie bag! Sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate! **
Every stay includes water bottles, granola bars, oatmeal packets, popcorn, coffee and tea. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cooking equipment!
Some history on the property! The building is the historic Stephentown Hotel, built in the 1860s as a railroad hotel to serve the increased traffic brought by the railroad from 1869 to 1952. The Hotel is the last remaining of four of the original railroad hotels in town. The Stephentown Hotel is a historical gem! Building was featured in "Taking Back Woodstock" film in 2009. Building went through a 3 year gut renovation, inside out, from 2021 to 2023.
Pets: Pets must be given permission. We love pets and try to ensure you and your furry friends enjoy your trip! There is a $25 fee per pet. Any damage, unannounced or non-permitted pets will incur a $250 charge. With that in mind, we ask you to clean up as best as possible. If needed, there may be an additional $50 cleaning fee per stay (requested after the stay if necessary). This would reflect additional cleaning if needed.
TV: The apartment comes equipped with smart TV.
Books and Games: Additionally the apartment is equipped with Monopoly, Jenga, Connect4, a couple books including two kids books: The Hungry Caterpillar & One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
The apartment is equipped with a blow dryer, Keurig machine for coffee, sweetener, creamer, tea bags, corkscrew / bottle opener, pizza cutter, toaster, cutlery, cutting board, ice trays, dishes, pots, pans, laundry detergent, bluetooth speaker and USB outlets.
Linens: All towels, sheets and duvet covers are laundered after every stay.
Door Code: A new door code will be issued for your stay. After your stay, the code will be disabled.
Security Cameras: The building has security cameras at the main entrances around the building and inside the building’s maintenance room. There are NO video or recording devices in the unit. IF you see anything suspicious - PLEASE ALERT ME IMMEDIATELY.
Parking - there is a reserved parking spot in front of the apartment. **For any boat / trailer / snowmobile, etc. permission must be requested prior.**
Smoking: There is no smoking inside the house. Recreational Marijuana - RM is legal for purchase in Massachusetts. RM is not to be smoked in the house. You may smoke outside.
** Noise - The building is an older building (built in the 1860s). And this apartment is on the ground floor. You may hear noise from the other apartments. We do provide white noise machines. **

Perfect for Pups
Our stay exceeded our expectations! The property is beautiful with a cute patio and modern furnishings/appliances. It had a homey and clean vibe and Dillon was nice enough to provide snacks, oatmeal, coffee, creamer, toothbrushes, etc. Everything we could need! We brought our two dogs and they seemed right at home and love going on walks through the fall leaves. Would definitely recommend for those with dogs, small children, or just traveling on their own!

Perfect home base for our Music Festival weekend
Dillon was very helpful and detailed in his communication and the apartment was as advertised. We loved the small deck to enjoy our morning coffee. The kitchen setup was helpful as well.
