Underwhelming

Driving to the entrance of the hotel was very unpleasant. You have a gas station on the right and a truck parking lot on the left. Once you pass all of that it is not bad. If I were the hotel I would construct a large fence on both sides because you feel like you are in the ghetto. The view from the window was the same, a truck parking lot. The carpet in the elevator is stained and frayed and needs to be replaced. I was not happy that there was no safe in the room. The breakfast area looked sterile, like a public school cafeteria. Most similarly priced hotels have much nicer bars and breakfast areas. I have also never paid for parking at a hotel in Sterling. That should be mentioned up front.
