First visit to Stockholm So glad i chose the historic Freys hotel Ideally located for fast link to airport on Arlanda express train Excellent location for exploring Gamla Stan, historical attractions public transport, walks by the water. Shopping malls, restaurants and lots of little city gardens, for cooler shaded breaks. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My room and facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. My breakfast was included and it was amazing with great choice, and although no real veiws in it's side street location, it was still pleasant to be able to choose to have an outside table. I purchased the little teddy bear (it's a nice touch that they place one in every room) as the money goes to charity 😊 I highly recommend Freys and hope to return in the future-- 5* in my opinion

Very centrally located. Reception staff were helpful with local advice. However, restaurant staff ignored me when I spilt my tea at breakfast so I had to clean it up myself. There was no instruction or communication to seat yourself at breakfast. Rooms at front of hotel are noisy at night. No air conditioning only a fan.

We stayed here in April and still talk about the breakfast! Rooms are a considerable size for a city centre hotel, great amenities and the restaurant attached (if you can get a booking) is well worth it! Would recommend for a city break, ideally situated along from the station ( use the yellow airport express entrance to walk staright the hotel)

A lovely stay in a city we’ve never been. Sprung for the large balcony room which was great for our family of 4. Really enjoyed the attached restaurant for both breakfast (exceptional complimentary buffet) and dinner (dream beer list).

Great Stay at the Freys Hotel!

Loved staying at the Freys Hotel. It is an older hotel in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the included breakfast and restaurant. They also send me a lot of information about the area before we arrived.

Good location next to the train station and airport link. Nice quirky room. Only thing that let it down was the breakfast. It seemed to be a free for all and the hot food was always cold even first thing in the morning.

The hotel staff is incredibly professional and kind. They let us check in early when we arrived to leave our bags after arriving on the train. The central station is only 1 city block from this hotel. It is quaint and an older hotel but super clean and well maintained. We loved the old world European feel. It was right by the hop on/hop off bus and convenient to all local attractions.
The Belgium Bar connected is not to be missed!
