Bottom Cottage: Swimming lake, BBQ Hut, Pool Table

This cosy, warm cottage has underfloor heating and a log-burning stove. The double doors in the sitting room open into the garden and overlooks the canal. It has an airy freshness from the surrounding woodland.

Mobility: this cottage has no steps, either inside or to the entrance. Parking is close to the door, with a very gently graded slope to the doors. The main bathroom has fold down arms for the toilet with transfer space alongside, and the bath and shower have grab rails for stability.

The two bedrooms offer a king-size with en-suite and a twin. Both have TV/DVDs so you can relax and watch a film in bed. The family bathroom has both a bath and a level-entry shower.

If you are on holiday with a larger family or a group of friends, then why not hire Seventh Heaven with Bottom and essentially have the whole end of the building to yourselves? There is an interconnecting staircase and plenty of break-out space for readers, game players or snoozers!

The lake has swimming and boats which you can use at your own leisure

The BBQ pit needs to be booked at an extra charge of £30 a session which 5pm to 10pm the £30 booking includes a bucket of charcoal and a trug of logs, which should be sufficient for a small group of up to 6.

Extra charcoal or logs can be purchased at £10 each. If the area is not booked, you are very welcome to go and picnic or relax at no charge.

There is a pool table and other games in the communal games area which is sperate to the cottage and shared with the other guests.
