Sit out on the wraparound deck and take in the views, head down to the fire pit, hot tub, or head to the swimming hole in the river. Matterhorn Bar & Topnotch Resort are close by.
Guest Access:
You will get full private access to the Chalet #6 as well as a ~ 9 acre property that is shared with the resort next door. The hot tub is private to guest of Chalet #6 while the pool is shared with the others.

Stowe Mountain Resort is a little over a mile away - grab those skis or hiking boots. Griffin Lodge is on Stowe Mountain Rd, .1 miles to the famed Stowe Rec Path (for biking or cross-country skiing), .2 miles from the Matterhorn Bar, and .3 miles to Top Notch Resort (you can walk to the Top Notch wedding tent). During the ski season, the bus to the mountain stops out the front of the property - check its location on the GoStowe app!! We have a river with great swimming holes in the backyard. If you are an adventurous hiker, you can leave the property and hike to summit Mt Mansfield!

We loved our stay at the Griffin Chalet. Located close to Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak, it was also a short ride from Stowe and the Von Trapp facility. It is a cozy place, perfect for a family gathering. It is very well maintained with a fabulous, large dining table. Except for the room with the bunk beds, all the rooms are of just about equal size. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. There are also more than enough pots and pans of good quality. There are lots of towels of great quality. In other words: we couldn’t have stayed at a better place.
