Well equipped and delicately furnished cottage near Strandafjellet. Huge terrace on 3 sides of the house. The surrounding mountains of the mighty and idyllic Sunnmørsalpen offer great terrain for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. The old church of Stordal (25km) demonstrates interesting architecture and decoration. Not far away are Hornindalsvatnet, the deepest inland lake in Europe; Ålesund, the city of art nouveau; as well as the Geirangerfjord (UNESCO) and the Trollstigen. Also visit Valldal, "the valley of strawberries," known for its sweet-tasting strawberries and delicious strawberry cakes. Day trips to the bird island Runde and the festival town Molde.
