Great location, staff, but…

The place is strategically located - from Gare is only about 6 minute walk. And it’s in the center of everything. One thing I was frustrated is they didn’t change the beddings. There’s still stain of the previous occupant(s). But staff are very helpful and friendly.

When booking this hotel, I was a bit afraid it would feel cold and too corporate. But the staff was so friendly and helpful and the interior of the building had genuinely historic, beautiful touches that were so pleasing. The breakfasts were lovely, and the beds were too hard for me (but this is common in Europe, I've found). Location is central to both the train station, plus shopping and main tourist sites. Would stay there again!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. They gave recommendations for dinner and sight seeing. The bar lounge and the rooftop were both relaxing.

Very conveniently located hotel, 10 minute walk to Strasbourg main railway station and close to trams and buses. This seems an older building but sympathetically modernised. Staircase and dining room are beautiful. As you may expect in a city hotel, my room was small but functional, although a bit stuffy. Staff were helpful and polite. Cathedral and places of interest nearby, as are restaurants and Cafes. Good place to stay for a night or 2 in a beautiful city.

Nice hotel. Well located. Friendly staff. Some rooms are not accessible by elevator, only by a lot of stairs. A spiral staircase. It was not easy to carry both suitcases up there. Knowing that before booking, I would have selected another room or place a special request.

Hotel Hannong remains an excellent choice, as I stayed here in March 2025 and also several times a number of years ago (2016-2018) for work. Friendly staff who speak English well, a well detailed, clean property, and an excellent breakfast. Would stay again for sure.

Very nice property in Strasbourg. Great location, excellent staff and service. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety of choices. The wine bar and lounge area was a great place to relax. The shower was amazing and among the best I've experienced. Would for sure stay here again.
