close to the train station

Pros: Cleanliness and staff
Cons: Larger beds and more comfortable
Location: Very dodgy!
On arrival from train station we were delighted it was just across the road but outside station and surrounding area is full of undesirables, drunkards etc which made us feel very unsafe. The girls at reception work extremely hard and should be appreciated by management, they were very much overworked but still managed to maintain a warm and friendly disposition towards guests. the rooms was very small, but it was clean and freshly painted. The bed though was like a rock and was only a double which made comfort difficult for 2 larger people. Breakfast was the usual meats cheeses, cereal, juice etc and pleasant. Would I stay again? Maybe not.
