Le Kleber is located in the old city part of Strasbourg. It is in walking distance to the cathedral and the beautiful half timbered buildings of old Strasbourg.

The pictures online and the room itself not quite the same. The location is ideal to access all the Xmas markets but can get loud at night noise wise from the tram below. The room is outdated in my opinion and felt grungy. Not worth the $$.

The location was fantastic! It was a 15 minute walk from the train station and the cathedral. The Christmas market was literally at the front door. Our only issue was that the blow dryer did not work, and nothing was done when we asked about it.

Nice sized room with ample space to walk around. Separate toilet with door, with shower/sink in separate room with door. Excellent location on Place Kleber and tram stop immediately outside the hotel. Did not eat breakfast here. Only dislike was that bag storage upon arrival was fine, but they charged $5/bag post checkout.

Excellent breakfast in lovely upstairs room overlooking the square. Helpful, friendly and supportive staff. Superb location to explore Strasbourg as the hotel is on the edge of Kleber square, so there's people noise outside but quiet with windows closed and adds to the feel of the location.

The only thing I would have liked to see was a room safe. Not so fun walking around a city with your passport and lots of cash in your pockets. Otherwise, a very good hotel with an outstanding location.

Clean bathroom (tiny) Very comfortable beds Great daily cleaning Great hot water Variety of TV channels, although the English language channels were limited to news Friendly and helpful staff Fantastic location for public transport (the ever- useful D tram). Close to train station Easily walkable to virtually every significant site in Strasbourg. Con- no room safe.

The reception area was sometimes unattended making it impossible to retrieve one’s key or get other help.

Desk staff periodically leaves the reception area and locks it up, so if you've left your keys with them, you're shut out; then they're dismissive if you object. My room had a floor on two levels (down to the bathroom and to the area in front of the door), so I had to be on guard against tripping. Bedside light wouldn't stay on because the plug falls out of the socket. In-room coffee/tea supplies not replenished. There was an electric kettle on the desk, but the nearest electrical outlet was on the other side of the room. Liquid soap container empty. The 5:30 a.m. fire alarm that wasn't shut off for 20 minutes didn't help either (there was no fire). I have no objection to re-using towels, but hotels usually ask your preference rather than just declining to give you new ones. The key to my friend's room next door jammed in the lock and needed staff intervention to get open (twice). Nice bed and duvet, though.

Very convenient location in the heart of the tourist area. Liked the shopping in the area. Liked the two single beds. Really missed not having a refrigerator, and there was no ice machine that would have helped since there was no refrigerator and it was very hot weather while we were there.
