Winner of the 2019 James Anderson Award for Heritage Preservation & featured in National Geographic, the Bradshaw building has long been one of Stratford’s most beloved architectural landmarks. With historical roots cultivated by a spirit of progress, the property takes its rightful place at the forefront of the city’s premium luxury vacation rental offerings.
Originally built in 1903 in the Edwardian Classical style, complete with channeled brick and radiating vousisoirs that frame arched windows and entrances, the Mooney Biscuit and Candy Factory defined the entrepreneurial spirit of the time.
It was in this spirit that successive enterprises built their own legacies at 245 Downie Street such as The Bradshaw Lofts namesake, J.L. Bradshaw, one of Canada's oldest wholesalers.

Gorgeous condo! Perfect location! Comfortable bed! Stayed for two nights on my mother daughter getaway. Quaint space with great decor. Full kitchen, separate living room with tv and King bedroom area with second tv and two large windows. Space was clean and organized. Communication with host was quick and efficient! Free parking in condo lot or on street next to building. Walking distance to shops and short drive to Festival Theatre. In lower level of building is a coffee/wine bar. The paninis were delicious! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely terrible from start to finish.Booking: price was more than twice the amount advertised.Address: not shared for privacy reasons. (????!!!) Sending address morning of check-in does not work for me as I don't have data on my phone. No phone number to reach anyone. Info was finally sent to me via my e-mail ahead of time after I insisted on it.Third party involved (no tel number available. I had to insist they call me) cannot help with anything related to the reservation.Vrbo (no tel number available. I had to look for it online.) cannot help with questions. Host is unreachable. Does not respond to phone, there is no voicemail to leave a message and number cannot receive texts.All this and I haven't even set foot on the property.I'll spare you my experience on that.
