We enjoyed our stay at Perth County Inn, Stratford. It is very accessible, close to everything you want to see in Stratford, cleanly kept, quiet. Recommend without hesitation.

The Perth County Inn is located steps from the lovely Shakespearean Gardens and Avon river. It's owner is very helpful and quick to respond to questions or concerns. One caution I would give is that the Inn is located on a busy traffic route - Ontario Street, so I would suggest rooms other than the "City View" which overlooks Ontario Street. The Relic Apartment, which I stayed in, is above a bar - and on Friday night I could hear the thumping base of their music until 1:30 AM.

Really lovely apartment. The river suite has great views and is quite spacious! The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The only thing to note is that the parking is a block away (but you can pull over behind the Inn and unload your car). Would definitely recommend!

Park your car and wander. The Perth County Inn is perfectly located for a convenient walkable stay in Stratford. Everything you might require is nearby. It is also nicely appointed inside for a comfortable stay. The host, Bruce is gracious, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

A charming room, bright and clean with some very fun character. Everything you need! Its also right downtown with a short walk to basically everything. Great owner who went out of their way to make sure we were having a good stay and made sure our bikes were safe. Will be staying here again.

The property is in an excellent location and central to all the theatres with lovely restaurants within walking distance. It is very convenient to have a parking spot just outside the door. The room was very quaint and lovely and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. we will definitely come back.

The Celebration Room at the Perth County Inn in Stratford is not merely a room. It is a stage, a whispering chamber of memory and possibility, where the walls seem to lean in with their own stories. Rumour says that certain writers—well-known for sharpening their pens on the marrow of life—scribbled some pages here. I believe it. The window desk overlooks the river, and rivers, as every writer knows, carry not just water but ideas. The current drifts, and so does the mind. In the morning, the room fills with the perfume of bread rising from the Painting Baker below—a small and delicious reminder that art and sustenance are not so different. Both require patience, both ask for heat. You write, you bake, you eat, you dream. And then, there is the bath. Not hidden away in the shadows but standing boldly inside the room itself, like a chalice. It invites bubbles of every kind—soap, champagne, laughter. To lower yourself into its depths feels less like bathing and more like a declaration: that life is meant to be celebrated, not endured. The location is perfect—close enough to the heart of Stratford to feel the hum of theatre and history, yet just apart enough that you can hear yourself think, or hear a story slipping into being. Stay here, and you might find yourself writing too. Or at least, celebrating.
