I opted for "virtual check-in" and was told I'd receive codes to open the front door and room door. Even after phoning the night before, no codes arrived. The front door WAS open when we arrived but no staff. Another couple said they'd been waiting 20 minutes. After waiting more than 20 minutes I snagged a chambermaid for assistance and she took us to our room. The next morning three other couples said they had the same experience of waiting a long time before someone appeared to offer help. If it wasn't for Terri (the chambermaid) I don't know what we would have done. The check-in experience definitely needs big improvement (and Terri deserves a big raise... she appears to be the only person on site).
