The room I was given was in the oldest inn on site which is beautiful but the not only put me on the basement floor where there are no other rooms except the boiling/utility/storage but the bedroom windows faced the large event tent with hundreds of people attending, and the curtains wouldn't close. The fact that I was checking in solo should have been an indicator not to put me in a secluded locations with minimum privacy from the outside eye. Although the did eventually move me-it took from my dinner time that caused my $80 food to be cold. On top of that they moved me to the first floor right at the sitting room where people sat in the middle of night to socialize and families took their toddlers to play in the early morning. Needless to say, I was exhausted after flying cross country to a lodge with restless obstacles. Other than that, the bakery was delicious and the grounds is stunning!

Room was dated .. felt like 80s apartment. Carpet & furniture old , NO refrigerator in the room. I went and bought a small cooler to keep drinks cold. There was a balcony looking into wooded area, but noisy from nearby road / highway. Beds were comfortable.

Parts of the hotel were really lovely and the grounds were very nice. We stayed in the motor lodge part of the hotel which was very basic and drab but that was reflected in the price we paid so no complaints.

Our room was nice and the beds were firm and comfortable! The only negative was the outlet between the 2 beds: it did not hold our plugs firmly. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable!
