While ours may be slightly higher than others, it supports a professional turnover after every stay, including the careful preparation of the home, linens, towels, and guest-ready spaces. BEDROOMS

Both bedrooms are located on the second floor and offer peaceful views of the surrounding countryside. Bedroom 1 features a king bed with windows overlooking the neighboring barn. Bedroom 2 includes a queen bed with views of the open fields. The home accommodates up to four guests, making it ideal for couples, a small family, or friends traveling together. Extra bedding is stored in the upstairs hall closet.



ACCESSIBILITY

This home is not wheelchair accessible. Both bedrooms and the TV room are located on the second floor with no elevator, and there are stairs required to access all sleeping areas.



LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN

The large first-floor living room provides a comfortable space to gather, relax, and enjoy quiet evenings by the fireplace. Thoughtful furnishings and the home's historic character create a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the space.



The kitchen opens directly into the dining room, making it easy to prepare meals while staying connected with the rest of the group. The kitchen includes the essentials needed for everyday cooking, along with a Keurig Duo for both single-serve coffee and full pots.



Whether you are enjoying breakfast before visiting Cave Point, preparing a picnic for Clark Lake, or sharing dinner after a day exploring Door County, the layout is designed for comfortable and relaxed meals together.



TV ROOM

The second floor includes a separate TV room where guests can unwind, watch a movie, or enjoy a quieter space away from the main living area. This is the only TV in the home.



This additional room gives guests more flexibility during their stay, especially when traveling with children or when members of the group prefer different activities.



OUTDOORS

Step outside and enjoy the calm surroundings, mature trees, open farmland, and classic Door County scenery. The deck provides a peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee, read a book, or relax at the end of the day. The property is located away from highway noise while still offering convenient access to nearby towns, parks, restaurants, and attractions.



The barn next to the home is privately owned by the neighbors and is not part of the rental property. Because it is not considered safe to enter, guests must remain off the barn property at all times.

Guests have access to a large gravel driveway with parking for at least three vehicles.



SECURITY FEATURES

To ensure the safety and peace of mind of our guests, we have several security features in place, including multiple locks, loud audible alarms that are easy to activate, and an exterior security camera. These measures are designed to enhance security and provide a worry-free stay.



NEIGHBORHOOD

This home is in a residential neighborhood. The neighborhood and backyard are perfect for grilling out, enjoying a fire, and laughing with your friends and family. Please respect our friends and neighbors and avoid loud, large parties. Please treat the neighbors like you live there.



SMART STAY AND EASY CHECK-IN

To make your arrival as smooth and stress-free as possible, we use a secure digital guest portal powered by SuiteOp—no app needed. Before your stay, you’ll receive a simple link to complete a quick ID verification, choose between a refundable security deposit or a low-cost damage waiver, and sign the rental agreement.



This helps us keep everything safe and secure while giving you a faster, contactless check-in experience. Once you’re set, you’ll have everything you need in one place—your door code, check-in details, house guide, local tips, and even options like early check-in or late checkout. Easy, convenient, and all at your fingertips.



CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, which is why we have a flexible cancellation policy in place. If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund of the total booking amount. If you cancel more than 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable. However, we will do our best to accommodate any change requests, subject to availability and applicable fees.



CLEANING FEE

Our cleaning fee is designed to ensure transparency and support our dedicated cleaning team, who are compensated with living wages to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service throughout your stay. This fee also includes a unique damage protection policy, providing peace of mind during your visit. It’s not a profit-driven charge, but one that helps maintain the quality of your experience. Guests often praise our attention to cleanliness, and we’re committed to making sure every detail of your stay is perfect.
