Expedia says Days Inn Sudbury is a very good hotel, I trusted this rating, I rented a room for one night, I went with my family on a 14 hour trip and upon arrival I found a hotel that had a bad smell, there was a cockroach in the room and the cleanliness left much to be desired, the shower curtain was terribly dirty and stained and the bathroom smelled like it had been cleaned with a smelly rag, it was terrible, as soon as the sun came up I ran out of there with my family.

The hotel reception area was modern but the rooms are in need of TLC. Our room had water damage on the ceiling, bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work and there were bugs in the bathroom. The area is very quiet and the food and service in the restaurant was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay and going out for supper in the in hotel restaurant. The only thing we found derogatory for ourselves was that the music was loud and not really aimed at a senior citizens group.

The only reason I gave this place a rating of 3 was because the continental breakfast in the morning was awful. The staff couldn’t keep up with replenishing it, the bacon was so crispy it crumbled in my mouth.. if you fix the minor issues there - it would be a great place.

Everything from getting checked-in, being offered waters and a snack bag. Customer service was nice. Only thing that was an issue is the shower curtain had a mildew smell, which most hotels you end up going to have it.
