Gary is a great host! We enjoyed our 8 week stay in Sugarloaf Key. The view from this house is amazing. We have stayed in the Keys many times and this was the best view we have had. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor area and the kayaks. Everything about this house was great! We would definitely rent this home again.

The house had all basic requirements expected in a rental with additional amenities provided as well. Great water view on the porch for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Nice living room TV screen and WiFi. The downstairs area has AC with a significant amount of recreational equipment provided (bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels & masks). There is an additional full refrigerator and deep freeze. When you’re at the pool, it’s easy to retrieve a beer, soft drink, or water without running upstairs. The pool itself has a very large sun deck which is refreshing. The grounds are kept clean without being sterile. There is just correct amount of vegetation without feeling you’re in a jungle. There is a garage space available to park or you can park under the porch as we did. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Dennis & Marianne. May, 2025

Best host & best place in Sugarloak Key

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location, great views, beautiful place and all the cookware and amenities needed. Beds and pillows were super confortable. Plenty of desk space for those woring remotely. Lots of seating. The patio area was wobderful and the house gets amazing breezes! Pictures are accurate but it's better in person.:) Gary was awesome to work with and super responsive, we've already locked in for next year!

January get away

Spent a month in this amazing house. The layout is perfect for families or individual couples. The only downfall is the inability to see the sunrise or sunset due to houses and trees.

Perfect Stay in Sugarloaf!

Our stay at Gary’s place in Sugarloaf was absolutely perfect! My family and I enjoyed every minute of it. The new pool is beautiful and the views of the bay are top notch. The house location has easy access to both the Atlantic and Gulf via boat. The house was clean and comfortable. 10/10 recommend. Thanks, Gary!!

Sugarloaf Shores

Terrific house with great view of sound and a wide,clean canal. Owners were especially accommodating and have outfitted the property with extras like bikes and kayaks, which in the past we had to either rent or drag with us. Can’t say enough good things about the house and location.

Run don’t walk to book this listing!

First, we travel all over and have stayed at dozens and dozens of VRBOs. This property is just awesome!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely amazing! We lived on the generously sized terrace for our entire stay. We so enjoyed the dock, fishing, kayaking and evening sunsets. The owner, Gary is very responsive and helpful! Well appointed home with comfy beds and great layout. Sugarloaf Key, the location had many advantages and we’ve stayed on other Keys before. Amazing biking and walking trail off the main road which is safe and beautiful. State park at the end of the community with beautiful walking trails that are great for dogs too! Across route 1 is a boat rental place where you can boat to Marvin Key, a gorgeous spot to relax and swim. Outside of the hustle and bustle of Key West but close enough to go in when you want to have dinner etc. we cannot recommend this rental enough!
