Beachside living is all about listening to the sound of the waves, basking in clear waters, and enjoying a walk along the pristine sands of Marcus Beach. With ocean views, this dreamy home is brimming with superb style, beachy furnishings, and quality interiors.
This coastal-styled home is ideally positioned within a quiet leafy street just 200 meters from the beach, taking advantage of the cooling sea breezes. Drive only 3 minutes and you will find yourself at the seaside village of Peregian Beach, boasting boutique shopping, artesian markets, and spectacular dining.
The space
Entering the gated area, you are welcomed with lush tropical foliage surrounding the enticing pool area and neutral stones leading you to the timber and glass front door.
Inside the entrance, your attention will be drawn to the blackbutt timber floors, tasteful palm tree art and earthy embellishments that create a welcoming environment. Timber-railed stairs are located on either side inviting you up or down the stairs.
Upon walking up the stairs, you are greeted with high ceilings, an abundance of natural light and an open plan living. A guest powder room is located conveniently to your right as you come up the stairs.
The focus is instantly on the generous lounge room featuring a smart TV, and a sprawling modern lounge suite. The charming nautical furnishings and coastal décor are notable, like the handcrafted Maywood timber surfboard propped against the wall.
In the centre of the space is the bright dining room, seating 8 on the characteristic timber dining set. Sitting behind this space is the premium kitchen, appointed with soft grey stone benchtops, a gas cooktop and quality cooking appliances. Beautiful rattan pendant lights suspended over the large island bench and bar-style seating.
The generous living, dining and lounging areas flow seamlessly outside with fully stackable glass sliding doors onto the covered entertaining deck that embraces the filtered ocean views and fresh sea breeze. With remote-controlled outdoor awning covers, this area is perfect for those warm summer months.
The sophisticated master suite is generous and secluded, concealed behind a white and glass-hung barn door. A feature wall sits behind the king bed, facing the large window, allowing an abundance of light through the impressive space. Walking past the floor-to-wall seamless robes, you will find the beautifully finished ensuite which offers a luxurious fitted shower and toilet on either side. The rattan décor and dried floral arrangements compliment the white and timber furnishings.
Take a few steps down to the lower level, and you will find the laundry room to your right which has a door to the expansive backyard and is completed with a new washer and dryer.
The next door over is bedroom 2 comprising of a queen bed, built-in robe, and an expansive ensuite fit with a modern basin, toilet and standing shower. The room is adorned with timber bedside tables, a rattan bedhead and plantation shutters.
Walking through the open foyer you notice the cane wall hangings and rattan counter leading into the living area. Here you’ll find the ultimate retreat, complete with a smart TV, modern lounge, air-con and coastal décor. This space provides an abundance of room to chill out and simply relax.
At the end of the hall, you find the remaining two bedrooms side-by-side, both fitted with bedside tables, plantation shutters and floor-to-wall sliding mirrored cupboards. Bedroom 3 has a king-size bed (that can be split upon request into 2 singles), whilst bedroom 4 has a queen bed resting in front of a characteristic bamboo bedhead.
The gorgeous main bathroom includes a counter vanity and shower and sitting behind a mosaic feature wall is a deep free-standing bath. The separate powder room sits adjacent to bedroom 4.
The grounds are fully fenced and there is a level grassed area both at the front and side of the property. Choose between the carport or easy street parking.
