The services are good but the rooms could be updated and aircon is too weak plus they need a pest control system. Always cockroach smell around the cupboards. Other than that it’s a nice cosy hotel with friendly staff and owner. I also stayed jn the upper level house and it was impeccable. A home like environment.

I love its unique boutique style and it’s very homely and friendly. There is a family affair going on here with the staff and management. The ambience is great. Also the staff wash your clothes which is a bonus. The facilities are outdated but neat and tidy. I’ll return.

When we 1st arrived we were given a room with 2 bedrooms as we took our dad. It was fine until I went into the kitchen.... there was black n green mould everywhere and the oven was filthy. I took photos so I could show reception when asking for another room. Our 2nd room was tidy n clean although on the older side. Our 2nd night this room flooded and was completely covered in 2 inches of water so at 2am we were given our 3rd rooms. These rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable. They did however have a shared kitchen for the 14 rooms and shared lounge n dining. Our stay was to include a full buffet breakfast and also meant to have a coffee shop. Breakfast consisted of cold sausage n boiled eggs... warm pancakes n cold grits as none of the bainmaries were heated. The fruit, pineapple n watermelon was a couple days old. Very very disappointing to say the least. The coffee machine was never turned on while we were there for 8 nights, only an urn with hot water. The juice appeared to be watermelon I'm gathering. I tasted it and it was sour. Upon inspection of the juice machine, there were floating and this juice remained the same all week. It was never changed. The fridge was dirty on the inside. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and friendly. This accommodation option is definitely not on my list to stay again. I will spend the extra $ if I return on better accommodation. The photos displayed online are true but only represent part of the facility
