everything was great except the window was bolted shut, so i was unable to get any fresh air and the room felt abit stuffy, please remove bolts from windows and allow them to open up abit. thanks.

Location is excellent, right next to the beach; parking adjacent to the entrance; easy walk into town centre or local maritime museum. BUT...The bathroom needs a lot of attention. Shower and bath controls so stiff making them unusable. Cold water to the wash-basin was hot (pipe insulation needs attention). Vent was permanently on and noisy - fan speed needs lowering and likely the extract filters need cleaning. Black mould, screw holes in tiles from previous fixture, missing cover plate to shower head all evidence of lack of attention. TV guide was showing guide for May not October - problem with the external server supplier apparently. Veneer strip to aircon unit was loose - requires re-gluing. In short, shoddy attention to many details and despite notification, the staff (though very courteous) had been unable to act on the two items initially reported within 24hours. I left them with a list and the duty manager was very apologetic, promising to act on these issues asap. Breakfast was same price for full cooked or for continental and cost extra if you didn't book it the night before - how silly! I breakfasted elsewhere. I doubt if the chief exec of Marriot would have been impressed.

Arrived at 2.30 pm and had to wait for the room to be ready. Daytime TV was so noisy (for no reason) in the bar whilst we waited for the room to be prepared.

Clean room, a little dated. Noisy heater which woke me up a couple of times. Comfy bed and nice bedding. Staff all polite and friendly. Breakfast was fine. Parking on site £5 a night. Didn’t use the bar - it was quite busy. Lovely view across the bar to The Mumbles

On arrival, hotel room looked fine. Toilet was dirty and had hairs on seat. Tissues box was empty. Towels looked as if they had been thrown up on railings. There was only 2 pillows for 2 people? And these were the most uncomfortable pillows and flat. Had no sleep. Bed wasnt the comfiest. The duvet was the thinest duvet ever. Was freezing all night. The remote for the tv didnt work. Wifi was poor. Tv channels didnt work? Wouldnt stay here again

It’s a great location stayed as we were going to a concert and the venue is about a 2 minute walk away. Parking reasonably priced at £5 per night, could have been free but not a rip off. Restaurant food was really quite good and service excellent staff asked if we were going to the concert and served as promptly as we were. There are some nice flat walks locally which is great for a leg stretch after being in the car. Would recommend.
