I like staying in traditional old city centre hotels, this one is superb. Opposite the station, beautiful inside with nice, spotlessly clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff make you feel welcome. Great breakfast as well .I definitely would like to return sometime, I arrived by train but there is a car park adjacent too.

Lovely, central faded glory

This is such a lovely place to stay. Right by the station, not too expensive, really nice staff and clean. Sure it is a bit dated and parts of it could do with a refresh but my room had been recently renovated and i loved being so central.

Not quite so grand…

Not quite so “Grand”. The staff are all great and doing their best with what they have. The hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment and maintenance; things such as decoration, faulty lights, and bathroom extractors sounding like a jet engine! The windows are metal framed double glazing which generate masses of condensation and make the net curtains mouldy in areas. Our room reported an extractor fan which didn’t turn off without removing the key card to remove all electricity from the room which was the only staff disappointment. Such a shame as it’s a great location and the staff are wonderful. Owners please take note!

The breakfast was the best in Swansea . I am not easily pleased ! Room was warm and clean . The stafff were friendly and professional . I will be back soon !
