Willow Retreat is a stylish and modern vacation rental nestled in the peaceful Sky Valley Community. This beautifully designed A-frame offers the perfect blend of cozy charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal getaway for families, couples, or small groups of friends. Willow Retreat is dog-friendly ! Bring along your furry companions—up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the adventure.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. Two main floor bedrooms each feature a queen bed, while the lower level offers a private retreat with a luxurious king bed. For additional sleeping space, there are pull-out sofas in both the loft and living area. Unwind by a wood-burning fire in the main living room (bring your own firewood), or head to the lower level for entertainment in the second living area, complete with a shuffleboard table and a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows (using your own streaming accounts). Step outside onto the deck, where you'll find a relaxing hot tub, firepit, and plenty of space to relax and soak in the natural beauty. Guests also enjoy access to Sky Valley Community's abundant amenities, including a swimming lake, kayak launch, and playground—fun for all ages.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please plan to bring your own supplies. One bath towel and one washcloth per person will be provided. Homes are equipped with cookware, dishes, drinkware, utensils, and bed linens for the max occupancy of the home. Propane will be provided for all propane grills; any refill requests can be made during normal business hours. Some items NOT provided include: paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, firewood and makeup remover wipes (recommended to avoid fees for towel damage).

PETS:
This home allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs to join in the fun. No other pets are permitted. Bringing more than two dogs will be charged a fee equal to 3x the standard pet fee, per pet.

WINTER RESERVATIONS:
A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS:
WITHIN 24 HRS OF BOOKING, sign the Rental Agreement to begin receiving your pre-arrival information. (Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement.) Once completed, your check-in instructions and door code will be automatically sent ONE DAY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you do not receive this info, please check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, contact us before 4 pm to ensure a smooth check-in. *All cancellations will incur a non-refundable processing fee*

Wonderful home in peaceful environment

My family and I had an amazing time at the golden A frame. You can enjoy a peaceful night at the house or on the deck. If you want to venture out there a bunch of exciting things to see or do from hiking to see waterfalls, dinner at firewater with a beautiful water scene as the backdrop, or take a stroll by the lake. It was a relaxing time for all. We are grateful for the memories. The house is beautiful!

House was nice there were issues but I won’t write them on the review. I let the owner know and hopefully that get resolve they stated they would refund me and I’m still waiting for that to happen. Other than that I would give the house a 3. Definitely in a secluded part of deep creek. But the outside needs to be cleaned up with a deep clean there are webs everywhere which makes you not even want to go outside. The hot tub we didn’t use didn’t look to be cleaned.

Golden A Frame

Pictures of the property mislead me. I’ll own that. We’re a mature couple And we had higher expectations for the furniture comfort (couches and beds). Worst aspect was the beds. Mattresses were sponge material. You sink into the bed and it was an affront to change position or even roll over on this mattress. We opted to leave early rather than attempt a 2nd night sleeping in the sponge. All that being said … if a young family rented this home, I’m thinking it may be a home run.

Nice getaway

The cabin was small but had everything we needed for a nice weekend. We had some trouble with the code and not being able to re-enter the property but the property management team worked with me to get us in. They were very helpful and I appreciate their patience and knowledge of working through the issue as I was a little stressed about it. We played the games in the lower level. My dog was afraid to use the spiral stairs so we didn’t utilize the upper level and took our pup to the lower level from the outside. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware. We also enjoyed the hot tub and cooked some hot dogs on the grill. We had a nice time here.

Nice quiet escape

We had a lovely quiet weekend. Perfect spot for a weekend get away. The front door lock malfunctioned and the property manager quickly responded and had a new lock installed. We even got some great tips for restaurants from the kind gentleman that installed it.

Rustic getaway

Quiet, peaceful setting at the end of a steep, private road. Kids/teens enjoyed the game room in the basement, outdoor swings, large deck with plenty of seating, grill, and hot tub. Be prepared for no AC. Bedrooms have ceiling fans. We brought a box fan which was useful in the main living space.

Weekend get away

Pulled into the driveway and noticed that there were cob webs and dirt all over the exterior. Once inside the place was clean. The blower to clean the deck off was dead and when asked for a new battery to blow off the deck no one responded. We found a house broom and cleaned enough so we could use the deck and hot tub area. There were a few exterior lights that did not work and no tub stopper for our 2 year old to take a bath. Overall this is a very nice place but needs a clean upon the exterior.

Had a serious family emergency and was completely unable to contact the host (vacasa). Multiple messages sent with no reply, called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. Will never be using vrbo or vacasa again.

This property was not ready for us when we checked in. The driveway, walkway and deck was not cleared of snow when we arrived. It took several calls and negotiations to get a response from the property management company. The property management company told us there is a snow shovel near by and salt is next door. The main bathroom sink does not drain, loose tiles in the bathroom, missing window trim in the living room and cob webs throughout the property - very dusty. This property is not well maintained.

Cozy winter stay!

My husband and I and our two daughters absolutely loved our stay at the Golden A-frame! The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. The house is so beautiful with such great touches! We lucked out with our stay and timed it during major snowfall which added to the beauty! Thank goodness for our 4WD! Or two pups were not impressed with the cold temps and snow, but loved the woodstove. They were scared of the sprial open staircases, so we ended up carrying them up and down as needed. We would definitely recommend staying at this charming house!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

The cabin was just what we were hoping for. We had a great stay with some friends. The hot tub and fireplace were exactly what our chilly and rainy fall weekend needed. The first floor beds are VERY soft so if you are a firm mattress person use the bedroom on the bottom floor.

Fun cabin getaway

Clean, modern, and cozy cabin. For those reserving this cabin in the future, be sure to bring all the kitchen essentials - coffee filters, k cups, spices, condiments, and oil. We ended up having to make a run to the grocery store (nearest store 20 minutes away) for these basics. Also, pick up some firewood on your way in to the cabin! We kept a fire burning during our whole stay and I regret bringing my axe instead of purchasing firewood. Great stay!
