The desk clerk that checked us in was very friendly and efficient. There are areas of the hotel that are showing some age but it was overall very nice. We had the king suite and it was nice and roomy.

The hotel is older but well maintained. The room was clean but there were steps that were missed. There was dust on the lamps, rust in the bathtub and a smear on the inside window. Breakfast was hot, fresh, & delicious.

In my mind, the most important thing about a hotel is how clean it is. Unfortunately, this one was not - filthy carpet, the room smelled like mildew, and at least a third of the surface of the bathtub was peeling up. The room also felt quite dim, and the furniture was quite old and damaged. On the plus side, the bed linens and towels were nice. Breakfast was also good.

Small issue… 1 key did not work Bigger issue… the hair dryer was broken and front desk had no dryers for my wife to use. Biggest issue… Big greases stains on chair and couch. Stains were sticky as well. Was dirty enough we were afraid to sit on any of furniture
