We booked a 5 night stay and there was nothing to do in the resort except for swimming pool. Listing mentioned tennis court and we saw a basketball court as well on the property but it was not maintained had big hoses/pipes lying around.
There is no shuttle running to and from the airport. If needed they'll connect you to a third party taxi which will quote more than double the price. We were quoted 55JOD for airport and from outside we were able to get the taxi for 25JOD. Another instance where we were quoted 180 JOD by AVIS(the private company) for a trip to Safawi and back but outside we were able to find it for 120 JOD.
They haven't listed the restrictions on the listing on expedia. But you'll see a list of restrictions as soon as you enter the hotel. Major one being no outside food or drink is permitted. You're forced to buy food from one of the 4 restaurants inside the hotel. This hotels are overpriced and don't give takeaways either to go and eat in the room. Then you go back to the room and call for in-room service. Staff also does not have proper knowledge on their own policies around service charges for in-room service.
Also, the most scariest was when we went outside for a walk in evening some one came from behind the tree and started following us while updating someone else on the phone. This person ran away as soon as he saw the police car standing ahead.
Hotel is mostly empty. In terms of events there is only belly dancing by same girl.
