From the moment we arrived at The Vale Hotel, we were made to feel completely at home by the wonderful young owners. Their warmth and genuine hospitality set the tone for a perfect stay. I was very happy with my stay. First it was good value and although there’s no on site parking, there was a free car park just around the corner. The staff were friendly and my room was a decent size, temperature and with a comfy bed/pillows. It was well equipped and had good water pressure in the shower. It was also clean. I also ate my dinner here and the steak was excellent.

Small but clean and friendly

We were only here 1 night for a party but the experience was a good one. Room was small but enough room to spend a night and was clean and comfortable. Loved the garden out the back and a good range of drinks were available. Cricklade is pretty and would definitely stay here again.
