Good, basic accommodation

This is a small house with good, basic facilities and a really great roof terrace. Some safety issues: the bathroom light has dodgy wiring which means the light flickers on and off all night. The stairs to the roof are pretty lethal. Otherwise fine - and the location is excellent, in a quiet back street near to everything you need. Ortigia is wonderful.

Everything you want for a stay in Siracusa

We had an amazing experience at Salvo’s house. The accommodation is very private yet close to the centre, with beautiful surroundings as soon as you walk out the door. In our opinion, the house is in the cutest part of Siracusa. The house is rustic and has no faults, it really feels like a traditional home. I have to say that the photos do not do the property justice - it’s a beautiful home and is so much bigger than you expect. There is also a beautiful roof terrace which is amazing. Salvo is very accommodating and easy to reach. We would would recommend this place for every couple or two travellers.

Leider sind die Bilder im Inserat des Objektes vielversprechend, die Wohnung aber nicht. Die Wohnung braucht eine Sanierung: vor allem von den Nasszellen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, konnte die Mängel aber nicht wirklich alle beheben.

Top-Lage

Das Haus ist bestens geeignet für einen - gern auch längeren - Aufenthalt in Syrakus: Einerseits sind alle Attraktionen der Halbinsel Ortigia wie auch der örtliche Markt mit seinem vorzüglichen Angebot an insbesondere Fisch, Obst und Gemüse in bester Reichweite, andrerseits ist es ganz ruhig gelegen.

Vacanza ad Ortigia

Abbiamo passato qualche giorno nel cuore di Ortigia. La casa è molto carina, silenziosa e dotata di tutti i comfort, con una terrazza piacevolissima. Bisogna tenere in considerazione il problema parcheggio, poiché la casa è nell'isola pedonale, ma la posizione è ottima per girare la città ed il circondario. Non in ultimo, il proprietario è gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile. Consigliato!
