Villa Paola is a lovely holiday home and the experience was excellent.

Our stay at Villa Paola was very nice and we had a wonderful time. The location provides good access to many local beaches, restaurants and attractions. The property manager was kind, professional and attentive and did all he could to make our holiday to Sicily a success.

Loved our stay!

This was the highlight accommodation of our visit to Sicily. Francesco is such a welcoming, trusting and friendly host, willing to help with literally everything and answer all questions. The house is perfect for two couples, two friends or more, or a small family. There is a huge lawn to play on, two patios, both with tables, one patio with an outdoor grill. There are screens on all of the windows, which is such a relief in the summer from the bugs. The house is decorated tastefully and practical at the same time, and each room is air-conditioned. Being able to wash our clothes was a huge plus, and there is a fold-up rack in order to dry them outdoors. Be sure to ask how to wash a normal load, it always varies from country to country. The property is completely private with a locked gate and there is room to park two cars within the private grounds. There are a couple of pizza places not far, and only about 1km away there there is a nice grocery store for basics, with a terrific deli counter with fresh cheeses and cold cuts (Viale dei Lidi, 3, 96100, Fontane Bianche). Larger supermarkets can be reached only a few minutes drive in the next largest town. The Fontane Bianche beach is very nice and it has what looks like a nice beach restaurant that we did not have time to try. From this location, day trips can be made to Syracuse/Ortigia, Noto, Ragusa, Modica and more, which makes it a very practical place as a base. We would return to this accommodation without hesitating and we can't thank Francesco enough for his kind hospitality and welcome. Highly recommended!

Schöne Unterkunft, Ort etwas berlassen

Die Unterkunft war schön, wenn auch nicht so pompös wie auf den Fotos präsentiert. Alles sauber, sehr netter, unkomplizierter und immer erreichbarer Gastgeber. Es standen ein Teller mit frischem Obst und eine Flasche Weißwein für uns bereit. Großes Manko: Um von dem Haus ins Dorf zu kommen, war man auf ein Auto angewiesen, da es auf der Hauptstraße keinen Bürgersteig gab, mit Kindern ein No Go. Schöner Strand ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.

Super Ferienhaus

Wir haben eine wunderbare Spätsommerwoche in Francesco‘s Villa Paola verbracht. Großes Grundstück mit perfekt gepflegtem Garten, ein sehr geräumiges Haus mit geschmackvoller Austattung und top-moderner Küche, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Bei der Lage sollte man allerdings wissen, dass Strände, Läden und Restaurants alle nicht in fußläufiger Entfernung liegen.

Family holiday September 2019

We really liked this place very much and can recommed it fully. Very nice villa in a quitly green neighborhood. The house corresponds to the shown pictures. Living room, bath room, 2 bedrooms with double beds and a kitchen equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker and all necessary dishes and cutlery. Bed linen and towels are provided. Around the villa there is a terrace and a very nice garden with olive tree and flowers. Parking space for car inside the property. Bakery and small supermarket in near distance. Sandy beaches at Lido Fontane Bianche can be reached by car within 5 minutes. Perfect place also for excursions on the south east coast of Sicily (e.g. Etna, Syrakus, Noto, Ragusa). The host Francesco and his family are very nice and helpful. Quick answers on our questions.

La casa è bella, spaziosa, con un giardino molto curato e con gli arredi praticamente nuovi. Gentili Francesco e i suoi genitori nell’accoglierci e nel salutarci. La zona è strategica per visitare posti bellissimi, in un angolo della Sicilia meraviglioso.

Villa parfaite pour les vacances.

La maison correspond tout à fait à la description faite sur le site. Nous y étions comme chez nous. Francesco est très accueillant et toujours à l’écoute. Manquait juste la piscine pour se rafraîchir vu les températures « tropicales « . À proximité de la plupart des plages de sable (+/- 2 km) mais possibilité de se baigner à 200 m de la maison . Notre séjour a été une réussite. Encore merci à Francesco.

Wonderful place

We had a great time at Villa Paola as a family. The place is clean, has a wonderful garden and is located about 2 km from a beautiful beach. Francesco was a great host and gave us a lot of good tips for exploring the island.

Belle maison très agréable à vivre

La maison de Francesco est une véritable maison de vacances. Francesco nous a très bien reçu ... la surprise des croissants italiens pour le 1er petit déjeuner nous a vraiment fait plaisir. Les citrons du jardin nous ont régalés tous les jours ! Ses conseils ont toujours été judicieux et enfin les adresses qu’il nous a données pour la découverte de notre dernière destination (Taormina) ont fini de parfaire notre séjour. Une belle adresse au bord de la mer à 1/4 d’heure de Syracuse mais pas vraiment au bord de la plage. Nous avons beaucoup aimé !

Die FeWo ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Klasse Hängematte. Am grossen Tisch sitzt man bei Regen oder Sonne super mit Blick in den herrlichen Garten.

Geschmackvolles Haus mit großem Garten, günstig gelegen für viele Ausflüge

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Francesco ist der netteste Vermieter, den wir je in einem Ferienhaus hatten. Weil wir einen sehr frühen Morgenflug hatten, durften wir schon um 11.00 Uhr anreisen, Francesco erwartete uns wie versprochen, es warteten schon ein Obstkorb und ein paar Dinge im Kühlschrank auf uns. Das Haus ist (im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Häusern in der Preisklasse) sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles in weiß mit schönen Korallenstoffen und Dekoartikeln. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher tadellos und schlicht weiß, keine hässlichen Muster. Mit ein klein wenig Improvisation ist in der Küche alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen braucht, auch Gewürze und Zucker. Alle Räume lassen sich separat heizen, was leider in unserer Woche vor Ostern nötig war. So konnten wir auch die schönenTerrassen und den Grillplatz leider kaum nutzen. Das Bad ist nicht das neueste, aber ließ sich auch gut heizen und alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Meer liegt nur 5 Minuten Spazierweg durch die Feriensiedlung entfernt, dort ist Felsküste. Der nicht weit entfernte Sandstrand ist hübsch in einer Bucht gelegen, jetzt im April war aber alles noch sehr verlassen. Francesco hat uns viele Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps gegeben, brachte uns typische sizilianische "Dolci" vorbei und war immer per Whatsapp zu erreichen. Das Wlan funktionierte sehr gut, auch auf der Terrasse. Die Verständigung klappte gut auf Englisch. Von dem Haus aus ist man in ca. 6 Minuten auf der nächsten Schnellstraße, in ca. 15 Minuten in Ortigia, dem alten Zentrum von Syrakus. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, es waren jetzt lediglich ab und zu Renovierungsgeräusche aus der Nachbarschaft zu hören, das störte aber wegen der großen Grundstücke nicht. Zum Erkunden des Südostens Siziliens ist es sehr gut gelegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Francescos Villa nur weiterempfehlen. .

Ein Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen !

Sehr fürsorgliche und herzliche Begrüßung durch Francescos Eltern, Paola und Roberto. Francesco ist ein netter, hilfsbereiter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, ging auf alle unsere Wünsche ein und versorgte uns mit guten Einkaufs- und Restaurant-Tipps. Das Haus bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten (bis auf die Mini-Duschkabine) , hat hervorragende Betten, reichlich Schrankplatz und gemütliche Beleuchtung. Der Garten lädt nicht nur zum Entspannen ein, sondern hält auch leckere Bio-Zitronen und diverse Küchenkräuter für das tägliche Menü bereit. Etwas getrübt wurden unsere sonnigen 14 Tage nur durch den nachbarlichen Baulärm und Katzen aus der Umgebung, die uns bei Abwesenheit den Frühstückstisch plünderten. Wir kamen als Fremde und gingen als Freunde ! Mille Grazie Francesco, Paola und Roberto für die Gastfreundschaft und die sizilianischen Leckereien !!

Tolles großes Haus mit wunderschönem Garten

Liebevolle Begrüssung durch den Besitzer Francesco, der sich die ganze Zeit kümmert und ansprechbar ist. Rundum schönes Haus, modern, das Bad ist etwas älteren Baujahrs. Lage ist etwas abgeschieden am Ende des Ortes, zum Wasser 150m, dort aber nur Felsen (evtl schnorcheln), zum nächsten wunderschönen Strand ca. 5min Autofahrt. Es gibt viele schöne Strände zum Anfahren. Ins fantastische Syrakus kommt man in 15 min (Auto),was wir häufig gemacht haben. Etwas gestört haben die vielen (Wach)Hunde auf den Nachbargrundstücken, die bei allem anschlagen (morgens nervig). Und es gibt viele Mücken und Fliegen, abends draussen sitzen war uns nicht möglich. Wohl nur mit entspr. Mitteln.... Fazit: Das Haus ist super, Lage relativ gut, man brauch halt ein Auto.

Very fine! Ganz toll!

Dear Francesco! Our holiday was great. The house is perfect. Thank you for all. In particular your welcome with wine, fruits and food for breakfast was very friendly because we arrived very late in the evening. And also your parents served us a little menu while the raining days as a consolation. The villa was very clean und well equipped. One time a cleaning lady did her work very tidy. You must still work only on the weather, Francesco ;-)) Then we will come back! Mille grazie!

Casa bellissima!!!!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa bellissima casa per 8 giorni. Un appartamento cosi grazioso non l`ho mai avuto. Sembrava di essere a casa. Arredamento molto moderno. C´era di tutto: Lavastoviglie, lavatrice, aria condizionata, camere grandissime. Anche il giardino era attrezatissimo: Tavolo grande, il barbecue, un amaca e molte altre cose. Le lenzuala e gli asciugamani ci sono stati sostituiti dopo 4 giorni e anche l´appartamento ci è stato pulito. Veramente un complimento al nostro oste Franceso che pure ci ha fornito dei consigli utilissimi. Ci torneremo di sicuro!!!!

Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen / Perfect To Relax

Wir sind Ende April /Anfang Mai für eine Woche Gäste in der wunderschönen und perfekt eingerichteten "Villa Paola" in Fontane Bianche gewesen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Für uns war der Aufenthalt perfekt, das Wetter hat gepasst und wir haben viele Ausflüge und Wanderungen in der Umgebung unternommen. Zwischendurch schaukelten wir in der Hängematte und genossen die Ruhe in dem schön gepflegten Garten. Francesco ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, wir haben es sehr genossen, seine Gäste zu sein, vielen Dank für den Wein! Wir werden noch lange an unsere Ferien denken und würden jederzeit wieder gerne in der "Villa Paola" Urlaub machen. We've been in "Villa Paola" for one week in spring. The house is perfect to relax, it contains everything you need and is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden. Francesco is a very kind and obliging host and we really enjoyed our stay - thank you for the Sicilian wine, Francesco! We visited the beautiful baroque cities of east Sicily and walked in the hills and canyons. It was really great!
