Dog-friendly Three Bedroom Cabin in Tahoe City
This cozy "Old Tahoe" style cabin is conveniently located near great hiking and the beautiful mountain meadows of Page Meadows. The dog friendly cabin is in the Talmont neighborhood, along the ridge above the Sunnyside area of West Lake Tahoe, just a couple of miles south of Tahoe City.
A circular driveway takes you right to the front door of the Tahoe cabin. The cabin has three bedrooms and accommodates 6 guests. Each bedroom has its own balcony or deck. The family dog is also welcome. The house gives you access to the very popular HOA amenity, Tahoe Park beach (and piers) and in all seasons, the cabin is very close to great hiking/biking/cross country skiing trails in Paige Meadows. You will also be close to the lake, bike and paddleboard rentals, a variety of restaurants and a great little neighborhood market; West Shore Market.
The house has three bedrooms; two with Queen beds, and one with a set of twin bunks. The entry level offers the main living space (living and dining room), full bathroom, kitchen and one queen bedroom with a full glass slider door that opens to the back deck and hot tub!
The living room has a flat screen TV and wood stove. The adjacent dining area seats 6. The kitchen in the same living zone has an equipped kitchen with two coffee makers (one Keurig). There is a full bathroom in the hallway (next to the bedroom with the deck and hot tub access.)
Stairs lead up to the second floor for the two other bedrooms with great views and each room has high ceilings and their own deck. One room is a queen bed with two chairs and a coffee table creating a zone to relax. The second bedroom on this level is a room with twin kids bunk beds and a desk. These upstairs bedrooms have vaulted ceilings for a great spacious feel and lots of natural light. There is also a second full bathroom on this level.
The Talmont neighborhood, where the cabin is located sits on top of the world in Tahoe. What makes this neighborhood wonderful is the ease of access to the Paige Meadows and its trailheads in winter and summer. Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe in the meadow, and in summer hiking and mountain biking trails abound. The Fall season is Paige Meadows at its best, full of color changing aspens. Trails also can take you to Ward Canyon, Granlibakken, the Tahoe Rim Trail and even the Pacific Crest Trail. You can go any direction and you will find trails that wind through the amazing Alpine mountains.
In the summer you will have access to the Tahoe Park Beach on Lake Tahoe. Not only is the lake beautiful, but that are picnic tables, a bocce court, piers and a playground. A desired beach location!
The cabin has great outdoor space and privacy for adults and kids. The adjacent lot to the south is unbuildable adding extra outdoor play space.

Cozy house for a ski trip
Some friends and I stayed here for a weekend ski trip at Palisades and it was great! The space was nice and clean, and within easy driving distance of the slopes.

Funky little spot a in a nice quiet neighborhood.
Perfect for a quick get-away if you're looking for peace and quiet. It's definitely cozy. Get your groceries before getting there and plan ahead or the little village market will pick you clean.

Great value!
This property is a perfect West Shore gem for someone looking to have HOA access to the Lake Tahoe Park beach and a good value for their money. The location is up the hill from true West Shore, and the property is a bit old and dated, but both of those things mean you get a well priced property with easy, drivable access to the West Shore area and access to the beach park. Despite being old/dated, it was clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including cooking meals there. I also appreciated the stock of clean bathroom and each towels.

comfortable stay in Tahoe
Comfortable for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids. As expected, the summer weather in Tahoe was beautiful and very warm. AC would have been nice, especially upstairs. The fans were helpful, but it was still stuffy and warm.
The circular driveway made parking very easy.

Comfortable Tahoe Cabin
Booked this cabin for last minute long holiday weekend vacation. It was very reasonably priced and welcomes large dogs. The house was convenient and had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice and everything was clean and well stocked. There are nice lake views from the neighborhood. The cabin is located on the top of a steep ridge.
