Marie's Getaway is a magnificent home with filtered lake views and everything you'll need to enjoy a peaceful, pleasant vacation. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, a loft/landing area for extra sleeping, two full bathrooms, plus one half bath in the hallway downstairs. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, a microwave, a dishwasher, and everything you'll need to prepare any meal.
The television room features a surround sound stereo system with CD, a newer flat-screen TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a gas fireplace, and comfortable couches for relaxation. The house is also equipped with internet access.
The game room/living room area is spacious and features a large gas fireplace, a pool table, and a dining room table to the side. French doors lead out to the expansive deck, which also features patio furniture, a gas barbecue, and a hot tub.
This home also has access to the ever-popular Tahoe Park Private Beach and is close to many hiking/biking trails. And of course, world class skiing is within a short drive - Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort, Homewood Mountain Resort, and Northstar at Tahoe!

Summer 2021 Family Gathering...
This Home was absolutely "PERFECT" for myself my adult family and their partners to reunite and socialize together.
The Kitchen was easy to navigate and very well equipped, loads of counter space and we were fortunate to use the brand new highly efficient gas range...yes we ALL love to cook! Eating dinner, lunch, breakfast and chatting together at the spacious dining room table was delightful.
Fun Indoor activities included a pool table, ping pong, all TV channels.....we packed games and completed a 1000 piece puzzle in 3 days...... all indoor activities were welcomed due to the hazardous air quality during our stay.
The outdoor patio and furnishings were very comfortable along with the hot tub and bbq, again we had very limited use due to the outside horrible air quality. We were not able to enjoy the private beach on the lake/ basketball court/horse shoe/volleyball and whatever else that area had to offer, no hiking or biking due to the extreme smokey conditions.
A few comments/suggestions my family brought up..
1. The 2 bedrooms upstairs should have fans, even portable.
2. Kitchen should have a few good knives that actually slice through a steak.
It was just unfortunate timing for our stay...We vacated one day early, I requested a credit, Julie and Amanda honored my request.
I would absolutely stay at Maries Getaway again :)
