The remoteness of this property is what we loved the most. Listening to the waves and nature sounds. The hosts are incredible and they are Tahitian! Its always great to know that we are giving back to the caregivers of original lands and their source of income. We would definitely return here. Its a place that is filled with aroha.

Accommodation was dated but OK for a stay of one night. It is not suitable for kids as there is no beach and the ocean begins immediately at a depth of ten to twelve feet. Called home by our government due to the coronavirus

You see, that’s the thing of it. In the formulaic responses I can’t give it superlatives yet I would rather stay here than the Manava Resort. It is delightfully charming and comfortable. It’s the kind of place where I could hang out the whole day and feel I’ve had a full one. We snorkeled inside and outside the reef, paddled about in the kayaks Victor provides and watched whales breaching just beyond the reef. I have to be careful not to wax too elegaic lest I won’t be able to find a place there next time I come to Tahiti.
