ジャングルの中の素敵なホテルです。一泊ですが両日共ツアーに参加し、送迎もしてもらってレンタカーなしで楽しく過ごせました。 築年数が経っていますが、よく手入れされています。小さい虫やユニットバスなどは問題ありません。お部屋は広めでツインにエクストラベッドを入れても快適でした。スタッフの方も頑張っています。また訪れたいです。

ジャングルホテルとのネーミングに惹かれ訪れましたが、設備や建物はかなり傷んでいるうえ、大浴場やベランダ等ペンキは剥がれ朽ちていて、辛かったです。純朴なだけが取り柄と見受けられるスタッフも広いホテルの割には、一度に最大で2人しか見かけませんでした。ロケーションも人気の上原まで車で30分ほどかかり、路線バスは1日に3本程度、タクシーは全島で3台のみという絶望的な交通インフラなうえに、ホテルによるイレギュラーな送迎サービスは期待できませんから、レンタカーは必須です。世界遺産は自然だけで、ホテルには期待していませんでしたので、次回は星野リゾートに泊まります。

西表のジャングルを感じることができるホテル

今回初めての利用です。 西表島へ行くのも初めてでしたので、フェリー発着の大原港と上原港の中間にあり、とても便利でした。 窓からはホテルの名前にも付いているようにジャングルの景色が広がります。 お部屋は古さは感じますが、広々としていてゆっくり過ごせました。 次回利用する際は、ホテルのオプショナルツアーをやってみたいと思いました。

9月末に宿泊させて頂きました。

西表島の自然の中にあり、ホテル内で琉球イノシシ、ホテル近くでふくろうを見ることができました。また、虫の非常に多い環境だと思いますが、館内は綺麗にされていました。 コロナウイルス対策のため、朝食も本来のバイキング形式から御膳となっていたり、席の間隔も十分に取れており安心して滞在できました。 近くに居酒屋等お店は一切ないので、西表島の自然の中でゆっくりしたい方にとってはいい環境だと思います。

スタッフの教育の徹底が必要。毎日違う情報を聞かされた。 1日目:外出で鍵を預ける際にホテルで夕食が必要であれば午後7時までに連絡して欲しいと言われる。鍵を預けるコンディションについての説明は無し。 2日目、朝食の際にディナーが必要であれば午後5時までに連絡が必要と言われる。 また、外出鍵を預ける際、午後10時までに帰って来なければ、鍵の返却が出来ないと言われる。 3日目、外出で鍵を預けようとフロントに行くと、現在、鍵の預かりのサービスは受け付けていない、と言われる。 通常、朝食はビュッフェとの事だがコロナの影響でビッフェではなく、10種類程の複数のおかずを乗せたプレートをいただく。通常はビュッフェなので、当然このプレートのおかわりがいただけると思ったが、おかわりできるのは飲み物のみ、と言われる。 4泊の滞在でホテル側からのゴミ捨てサービスは無し。コロナの影響でゴミは自分で捨てるというポリシーにしたらしい。 またタオルの交換も無し。

立地が素晴らしい！自然の中にいる気分になれます。 チェックイン時、外国人スタッフで頑張っているのは分かるのですが説明がほぼなく、清掃&タオル交換がないことや朝食がどこ等の説明がなかったのが困りました。日本人スタッフもついていたのに何も言わなかったので元々こんな説明なのかもしれませんし、エコに配慮しているのはとても素晴らしいのですが、一般的なホテルに慣れている日本人には一言あると助かると思います。 ただ、どの方もとても愛想がよく気持ちよく過ごせました。 次西表に来る時はぜひまたこちらに泊まりたいです！
