Not so good anymore
I stayed at this specific hotel before and everything was great. Over a year later I go there again and this time it was awful. First, Double Tree is known for their cookies, every day I stayed there the front desk advised me that they didn’t have any so no cookies for me. The room was dirty, I even found dog poop under the side table, dust everywhere. The shower door had something on it, a splashy stain, that could be seen easily with a naked eye. The toilet started leaking water from the toilet’s tank and from the shut-off valve. I called the front desk seven times and no one never answer the phone. I then decided to go to the front desk and there were three employees talking to each other. I spoke to one of them and explained what was going on with the toilet. I was told that they are gonna send a technician to check what the problems was… and guess what, NO ONE showed up to solve the problem. I called again the front desk and needless to say, no one answer the phone. I had to come downstairs again and let the front desk representative know that the toilet issued wasn’t resolved and that nobody went to check it. I was told again that they contacted the technician and to wait for him in the room. Making the long story short, the tech never went to the room. Double Tree is my number one hotel to go with my wife but next time staying in the Tallahassee area I’m gonna try a different hotel.
