This is a perfect hotel for FSU games, orientation or campus visits. It is in a convenient location, about a 10 minute drive to campus, there is a Target and BJ’s very close by. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice and accommodating. The housekeeping staff knocked on our door game day morning to see if we needed anything before we headed out and the bartender was very personable and provided greasy service.

On arrival the room was well presented, but on closer inspection the bedding did not smell fresh. To address this, we slept with a perfumed towel on top of the pillow. The room was not serviced the first day, which we accepted as an oversight. The room was not serviced the second day. We went to reception and complained, but was told house keeping had finished, but they would do a thorough service the following morning. The room was not serviced for the third day. We complained at reception to the duty manager. She advised that house keeping had finished, but would send somebody to the room to collect 3 days of dirty towels and empty 3 days of waste. She eventually agreed to make the bed herself (we think the bedding wasn't change as it still smelt). The bathroom was still not cleaned. We were given a free breakfast the following morning, and advised that the evening meal would be free, the duty manager would tell the restaurant. When we had the evening meal, the restaurant didn't know anything about it and presented a bill for payment! Overall, an extremely poor hotel which I would not recommend to anyone.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again we had a small hit up the first day and staff corrected and fix the issue as well as gave me and my son a free branch. The issue was very minor. It will keep us from staying there again.

Overall I liked the hotel. The shower looked a bit grimy, but my biggest complaint is the staff. They called me about 5 days prior to confirm my stay. I assured them I would be there. I arrived at around 4:50 and the front desk mentioned I just made it as they were going to cancel my reservation at 5. That was not mentioned when I spoke to the woman 5 days prior nor was that listed on Expedia. Had traffic been worse or we stopped for lunch, I would have arrived to find I didn’t have a hotel room. It was parents weekend, so there is no way I would have found one and she said they wouldn’t have called me, they just cancel it. Be leery about staying here as who knows of they are going to cancel your reservation without you knowing.
