I think the clerk checking us in was having a bad day. She seemed preoccupied and could have been more friendly. All other staff encountered were friendly. The room could have been cleaner. We found hair in the shower, toilet seat and it appeared food was smeared next to the bed board next to the light. Carpets need shampooing my white socks are now brown. Hotel was quiet and seemed extremely busy with people checking in and out.

I really loved this place when I first checked in. When I went to take my shower, however, that opinion changed. It was clear by the build up of soap (not soap scum) and the personal products from the previous person (s) still in the shower. To be clear, I am not talking about the Dove products provided, these were Johnson and Johnson products. I was not that upset at first as I understand mistakes happen. What upset me was that when I explained specifically the issue with the shower and asked them to clean it, they just did turn down service and gave me fresh towels. I ended up going to buy shower shoes and Clorox wipes and proceeded to clean the bathroom. After that I just hung the do not disturb sign for the rest of the week. If this had not been a paid for work trip I would have taken it higher. Will never willingly stay again even if I have to pay more.
