Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown. Beautiful decor, modern. All personnel - front desk, valet, breakfast staff - friendly and attentive. Free breakfast very good. Room and hotel super clean. Walked to many places downtown - high end steak house, the aquarium, Riverwalk. Downtown area safe and clean.

My family and I had 1 night stay. While we were here There was a cockroach. When I reported it at the front desk. The Cleaning staff never showed up. And the manager told front desk lady that they can’t do any thing because I booked through Expedia.

The hotel is in a very good area. Lots of restaurants close by that can be walked to. Parking was not so good, we have a big truck and they dont valet... had to go to a public parking and then walk to hotel.. other than that great hotel.
