Staff was courteous. Rooms/halls need updating. The bathroom was better but not detailed updates or clean, dirty & rusty corners. Never had a hot shower, just warm. Beds were ok, pillows were fabulous!

Lobby was nice, but we were definitely disappointed. Rooms were very old, shelves in bathroom were all sloped and couldn’t hold accessories. Elevators were constantly down and we even got stuck in one for 20 minutes. Hotel offer us nothing compensatory.

The staff was exceptionally kind and very welcoming and friendly. The hotel bar is spacious and very clean and great service. The location is lovely - right on the river walk. Parking is inexpensive. The room was a little shabby and humid. Air conditioning was sporadic in the room and sometimes freezing / sometimes humid. The room had a mild odor. The bathroom was tiny and a little worn. The hallways to the rooms seemed like they could use a whitewash and new carpet. There was no water to be found. So that is why we gave 3 stars.

Beds & pillows were soft, sheets and bed linens were spotless, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. I appreciated the on-site parking. It was only $10 for guests. My only complaint was the smell. Upon walking in, the room smelled musty. I quickly got used to it and didn’t notice it. Then we left and upon returning, the smell hit me in the face again. There must be moisture trapped in this room. Otherwise, this is an excellent location, next door to The Straz and RiverWalk.

Horrible outdated dark room that looks like it hadn't been updated since the late 80s. Area of town is pretty sketchy at night and not safe feeling. Slept one night to catch the cruise ship which was close but thats the only thing going for this hotel. Horrible spot to try to find somewhere to eat dinner as well
