Wonderful

The Barrymore is a landmark in Tampa! I took my girls to the Winter Village and ice skating for their birthdays. We had a blast and loved everything about it. The restaurant was fantastic and everyone at the hotel was wonderful!

Hotel is nothing too special, but it was the cheapest in the area. Met our needs for one night, but would not want to stay there for too much longer than that. I will say the shuttle was very convenient for us to bring us to the hockey game.

Definitely wouldn’t stay again

Location was decent, but definitely not actually on the river. Shuttle would take you to certain set locations. Incredibly dirty bathroom in my ready room on arrival, also shower water would start brown and smelled horrible, not sure if this is the norm for Tampa. Supposed to be two queen beds, to check in about 30 minutes early I had to agree to one queen. Didn’t realize this meant a room that was previously a 2 queen room, and for some reason just had a bed missing. Definitely would not recommend or stay here again.

This was a functional stay in an exceptionally average hotel. The property is in need of significant refurbishment and more thorough cleaning, as it appears quite rundown. Service was average, and the room lacked comfort. The fitness centre is poorly equipped, making only a very basic workout possible. I did not dine at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the food.
