Omg.... where does one start! Check-In - waited 15 minutes whilst being 2nd in line. Just the one staff member checking guests in. At one point there was four other staff members behind the checkin desk all staring at me. Still had to wait. Another guest behind me became vocal with the situation. Made no difference even though all the staff looked directly at her. 1 lift not working. Lined up again. Was residing in a 'suite' ($600+ p/night)...... view - a rooftop full of rubbish. Old stickers on the windows. Two tiny towels and a broken toilet. Stained couch and no bottles of water. Rang reception to get some towels delivered. Headed to the exec lounge. Possibly worst lounge in melbourne. Every couch unclean and stained. Wine selection was poor quality and the canape's possibly were straight from the frozen section at coles. Staff were friendly but left promptly. Returned from our evening out to a room with still no towels. Rang reception again. Towels delivered 20 mins later. Look like d they had come out of a homeless shelter. Told the staff member to keep her towels. Rang reception for some bottled water. Was advised there was a filtered system on my floor. Got dressed and Traversed to the other side of level 4. Water system out of order. Rang reception....was told "drink water out of my bathroom tap". Asked to speak to the manager. Told "no". Called the hyatt down the road, advised them of my situation and they booked us a suite. Immediately pacmed and checked out

The best hotel in Tamworth. I stay at the Powerhouse all the time. Rooms are spacious and well fitted out. Great location. The best restaurant in town. Great wine cellar. Always immaculately clean and functional. You won't do better in the New England.

Our room was advertised as an hotel room was not cleaned each day, disappointing. The air conditioning blew directly onto the bed suffered from a cold after this, also the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Left a day early, the region was great the resort was less than I expected. Also not too fussed on having $200 frozen on my card expect I’ll get it back sooner or later. Staff were friendly, facilities restaurant never saw it open the bar adequate don’t enjoy being ignored while staff finish a conversation. I know I’m marking hard was really looking forward to this getaway but I reckon I got better service and value from a motel in Toowoomba we came from. Location was amazing

Absolutely beautiful hotel, will stay here every time we're in Tamworth. Pool is easily one of the best in regional Australian hotels, room was spacious with very comfortable beds. Excellent amenities but breakfast left a little to be desired, while the food was good there were not many options in an included package and were not very large portions. Continental buffet was nice enough.

The rooms was well appointed but the sound proofing is poor as we could easily hear others talking. The shower and bed were good and the room was clean. Overall it was a good stay. Parking on the Saturday night was challenging due to restaurant or function guests. All up we would stay again.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Food and drinks a bit overpriced of course. The room was clean and in good condition. A bit small though. I could do laps in the pool which was good and the spa was in good working condition.
