Very luxurious airport hotel. The layout of the room was great, having a restaurant downstairs with many, many options for food was great for persons taking or coming off a flight. As practical as it gets. Location for airplane travels is very convenient, accessible from MRT Station A14a, just besides the hotel itself. Modern, well kept and now under Hyatt administration. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is professional, polite and helpful.The Chinese Restaurant is a 5 Star Experience. Don’t miss the roasted duck, a true delicacy.

Staff at counter for check-in was okay, albeit robot-like. Staff at the lounge/bar was good and professional. The room was okay. Cleanliness was subpar for things I notice, but the general public would not. The room needs a deep clean, including the nooks and crannies. I wouldnot stay here again based on the price I paid for 1 night.

We've stayed at this hotel a few times before it changed to a Hyatt Regency. Unfortunately, the rebranding seems to have deteriorated the overall experience. The lobby is cavernous and void of furniture. Dining options are expensive and subpar, especially dinner. The bar restaurant is small for the size of the property and was overrun the evening we stayed forcing us to eat lukewarm food at the buffet. They also need new beds and bedding as they are not what you would expect from Hyatt. We won't be returning.

Walk a few feet from the hotel and you can jump on the train to Taipei City! Buy ticketsand have a $50 or less as machines dont take big bills. We had a 10 hour layoverso we wanted to see the downtown and old city. Its about 35 minutes to get there on the train. There is an express train which is the one we took. Wefound a benihana style locals place that was excellent and airconditioned.No issues with train. The hotel will store your luggage.
