Ski hotel off season

We enjoyed our stay in Tarnaby. It was off season but that was okay since we were using it as a base to drive to the Arctic Circle in Norway.

Wonderful staff and hotel

This hotel in Sweden popped up on a hotels.com search as a good affordable option for our trip northward to the Arctic Circle in Norway. Hotels in the North of Norway are far and few and expensive. This really nice hotel (awesome water/mountains view) is a good 1-night alternative for those heading north in Norway. It's clear that this is more of a winter skiing option, but we stayed here in July and were not disappointed. the proprietor/staff were wonderful, breakfast was wonderful (with some great homemade jams), and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Be aware that there is another hotel with almost the same name that you will pass as you enter this town from the west; this hotel is next to the first (only?) petrol station in town. There is also a great hiking trail with magnificent 360-degree views as you head southwest just past the border crossing and back into Norway. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, as we were very pleased with everything. Sweden rocks!

TĂ€rnaby FjĂ€llhotell – PrisvĂ€rt med blandade upplev

Jag hade en nyligen genomförd vistelse pÄ TÀrnaby FjÀllhotell och övergripande var det en positiv upplevelse, sÀrskilt med tanke pÄ priset. Rummet: Rummet i sig var bra, rymligt och bekvÀmt. Dock fanns det brister i stÀdningen, vilket drog ner helhetsintrycket nÄgot. Frukosten: Frukosten var okej, men inte mer Àn sÄ. Ett stort plus var utbudet av frön och torkad frukt till yoghurten, vilket kÀndes frÀscht och hÀlsosamt. Den varma frukosten var dock en besvikelse. Maten var ofta inte tillrÀckligt varm och Àggröran var tyvÀrr alldeles för stabbig. Baconen kÀndes mer kokt Àn stekt, vilket inte var sÀrskilt aptitligt. Restaurangen: Restaurangen pÄ hotellet levererade dock god mat, vilket var ett stort plus. PrisvÀrdhet: Trots vissa brister, framförallt med frukosten, var vistelsen pÄ TÀrnaby FjÀllhotell mycket prisvÀrd. Det lÄga priset kompenserade för en del av de mindre bra aspekterna. Sammanfattning: TÀrnaby FjÀllhotell erbjuder ett bra boende till ett mycket bra pris. Rummen Àr komfortabla och restaurangen serverar god mat. Frukosten Àr dock ett omrÄde dÀr hotellet kan förbÀttra sig. Om du söker ett prisvÀrt alternativ i TÀrnaby och inte har alltför höga krav pÄ frukosten, Àr detta hotell ett bra val. Familje och barnvĂ€nligt. + Positivt. + servicen att vare imöteskommande + vĂ€ldigt god mat. Högrevsburgaren Ă„ en pasta rĂ€tt med kyckling. Och generöst m mat. Lagade lunch till mig fast att dom inte hade ett lunch utbud. Men dom gjorde en extra service dĂ„ det var under lite dĂ„liga omstĂ€ndigheter med storm vĂ€der ute och jag hade bil pĂ„ verkstad och det inte var sĂ„ nĂ€ra till nĂ„gra mat platser annat Ă€n hotellet den dagen. + fin utsikt mot vatten Ă„ berg + lugnt Ă„ stilla + ett loungerumm med biljardbord Ă„ lite sĂ„nt i baren. + gratis parkering och frukost + lĂ„gt prisvĂ€rd pris +bra upplevelse +rensligt Upplevde aldrig room servicen dĂ„ jag plötsligt bestĂ€mde mig för att boka 1 natt till och förlĂ€ngas sĂ„ behovet fanns inte. Bacon första dagen men fick besjked om att ingey tillagade dagen efter pga för lite gĂ€ster. Stekta Ă€gg fanns inte ö.h t och de kokta Ă€ggen var kalla. Men saknade verkligen stekta Ă€gg Ă„ bönor. Och det fattades hĂ„rtork pĂ„ badrummet men det löste personalen med att leta fram en! Åter igen servicen inriktade och behjĂ€lpeliga.
