Fantastic relaxing accommodation with great staff

We stayed at DarZahia for 3 nights in November. Zahia (the owner) was not there but sent us a number of emails in advance with things to do in Taroudant and the vicinity, which was really helpful. The staff working there Belaïd and Fatima were excellent, really friendly and made us feel at home- Belaïd was really helpful showing us around town and Fatima's food was superb. The accommodation itself is beautiful and the roof terrace garden was in full bloom. It is a great place to relax and enjoy following a day in the mountains or the souk. In the evening we ate in the drawing room in front of a log fire, and the riad had candles lit throughout, very romantic and atmospheric. Many thanks to everyone there for a fantastic stay.

Stilvolles Riad mit Liebe zum Detail

Wir wurden im Dar Zahia von seiner gastfreundlichen Crew empfangen und verwöhnt. Das Riad wurde mit regionalen Materialien erbaut und stilvoll eingerichtet - ein Erlebnis, auch für Designliebhaber. Sanas Tagine war wunderbar, ihre hausgemachten Konfitüren mit Obst aus dem eigenen Anbau ein Genuss.

beautiful place misrepresenting

The place is misrepresenting itself, the bathroom is not private only the shower is. You have to get out of the room and walk through the courtyard to get to the toilets. Room was infested with mosquitoes. For the price the room was very small. It was getting loud in the morning due to other guests. Other than that the design is gorgeous proving great taste, the gardens were wonderful. Reservations/directions were efficient even though this was a last minute booking. Probably peaceful only if you rent the entire dar for yourself.
