## Space

Our home is set over three floors and is perfectly suited to people that want to enjoy the local cuisine and night life, that this historic, yet very modern town has to offer.

On entering the house, you walk into the open plan lounge and kitchen area. This has all of the appliances that you will need to cook some of the local fresh fish available at the nearby fish market, just minutes walk away.

On the second floor, you have a double and a twin bedroom and they'll share the family bathroom next door. Then going up to the second floor you have an loft style bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

➤ We want to be transparent and give you a heads-up about a construction project next door. Work usually takes place Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, during which you may experience some noise disturbances. While these are the typical hours, please note that we cannot fully guarantee there will be no activity outside this schedule. We believe in honesty and strive to set realistic expectations, ensuring your comfort remains a priority.

## Neighborhood

There is a beautiful coastline of unspoilt beaches within a short drive, which are crossed by the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the Algarve. The Praia de Tavira is the region’s finest and most popular beach, which is connected to Tavira by a regular and inexpensive ferry, which departs from the city centre (10-minute walk from the apartment) and also from Quatro-Aguas. The Island is 11Km long and is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Algarve Region. Many companies offer boat tours, including kayaking and paddle boarding.

The town’s leisure centre is next door to the condominium which offers superb leisure facilities including a 25 metre, 8-lane indoor pool, 5 newly resurfaced tennis courts and an Astroturf.

Tavira is also a great location for golfers with a range of courses close by offering beautiful scenery in peaceful surroundings, including Monte Rei which has been ranked as the best course in the Algarve.

Tavira is well known for its quaint traditional streets, where old meets new, and is a great place to do some sightseeing and while away time in the sun with a glass of wine in one of its charming plazas or cobbled streets.

## Transit

There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended

An absolute gem in the heart of Tavira!

We could not have loved this place more. It’s exactly as pictured and could not be more cozy and comfortable. The house is in the perfect location to explore all of Tavira by foot, but it’s so lovely and quiet at night, you’d have no idea you were just steps away from the festivities. Beds are super comfortable and the cross breeze through the house keeps the temperature perfect. The hosts are crystal clear with all info about the house, great local suggestions , and instructions for check in / check out. We loved the little terrace out back and our host Rob went out of his way to make sure all are needs (and then some) were met. We’d highly recommend this wonderful home and will be bank again for sure!
