Cozy and clean

I was hesitant to book a small hotel on the highway - but the reviews convinced me to try. It was great and I would do it again! Nicely renovated (happily, no carpet). Super clean with good towels and sheets. Kitchenette had coffee (sugar, pd cream), dish soap, towels, dishes. We were completely happy. It is quiet and beautiful and yes, there is the highway but it was not noisy at night.

Brenda was super nice with info about local hikes, provisions, even vintage postcards. The stay was comfortably cozy with the natural beauty of the area everywhere.

If you’re looking for a stopover in the marathon area this is the best value in the area. Very clean and remodelled rooms. East parking, comfortable beds and great shower.

We were on our way to Toronto and got to spend only a night at the place as we left very early the next day. The people were very friendly. The place was clean and tidy. But there were a lot of mosquitoes outside and some even got inside the room.

Great place and location.

We had a terrific stay. This had full size fridge and stove/oven and all the utensils we needed. It is in a great location. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It's right off the Trans Canadian hwy, so convenient but lots of road noise. The fall leaves around the lake were gorgeous! And the beach area was very nice!

I highly recommend this property. The lady at check-in was very nice. They are little cottages set up as duplexes. Spacious, clean, and cute. The only negative for me was how small the shower was. If you're a bigger guy like me prepare to do some acrobats to clean the undercarriage lol. If you're looking to stop outside of Terrace Bay, this is the place!

Loved this place.

These cottages are extremely clean and comfortable. The front desk check in was pleasant. No phone in room, but most people have cellphones, there is a working phone booth in the parking lot if necessary. I was worried about road noise but it wasn't a problem. We will definitely stay again.
