Catch up into the 21st century with your hotel

We have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years and have never stayed in the same room twice. This one topped them all for being uncomfortable - it may have a bit to do withe the temperature being in the mid 30's for most of the stay but hey when you charge so much at least have air-conditioning in the rooms. Yes, we had windows that opened but onto a cobbled street with bikes, suitcases, drunks and trollies going past ALL night. Delft is a beautiful city and it is such a pity to leave on a sour note of no sleep for 4 days

Very characterful hotel close to the old market square and old Delft town. So near lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. But also close to a large parking area on the edge of the old town so avoiding tricky trips round the tiny canal streets.

An ideal place from which to explore Delft, by foot, or get the very efficient train into the Hague to see the Girl with a Pearl Earring. Don't miss De Lelie, the best ice cream in the world. You may have to queue but it's worth it.

Very nice place to stay. Strange decor but interesting. Good location for walking around Delft. Buffet breakfast expensive, as not as extensive as full English spread, but good fresh fruit salad, scrambled egg, orange squeezer for fresh juice (prepare to work for it!), pancakes, yogurt etc

What a brilliant find, right in the centre of Delft and a couple of minutes walk from the train station. A huge room and a huge comfortable bed. Great nights sleep and with great staff on reception, what more could you ask for! Will be back.

The location is good. The room is nice with high ceilings and you do not hear the outside at all, or the lifts etc. Location is five star. That's the only good part. Staff are polite but have no initiative or ability to help with anything. Room was not cleaned, bathroom flush does not latch, one light in the bathroom was not working, there was no kettle or coffee maker. When you ask staff they never do anything without repetition. We landed early and were waiting for our room at reception. We were the only ones waiting for over 2 hours, yet they only confirmed the room was ready after we asked again. Parking is expensive and reception won't tell you how it works. Reception manager was outright rude. It is not a 4 star, the stars are for service.
