Summary:

Tuin van Keet - 30 is a cabin for two people in Oud Ade. It is a compact Tiny House with a black exterior that contrasts beautifully with the green surroundings. The Tiny House is situated in the small-scale park De Tuin van Keet, in a green and water-rich part of the Randstad.



The Space:

Inside, the sleeping area under the loft creates a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom is compact and well-maintained, exactly what you need for your daily routine. Bed linen and towels are provided.

For laundry, please use the communal laundry room in the park.



The open-plan kitchen is practically laid out and equipped with, among other things, a coffee machine, crockery and cutlery, a freezer, a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave, so you can easily prepare a meal and then sit down to eat in the same area.



Outside, you step straight out onto the wooden decking through the door, where two chairs are waiting for a quiet moment in the open air. This Tiny House also has a jetty by the water’s edge. You can sit there, go fishing or moor a boat.



Pets are not allowed.





Please note that the Tuin van Keet is still very much a work in progress.

Work is still in full swing at the park, but it’s already a lovely place to spend time. Think peace and quiet, open spaces and beautiful green surroundings where you can really unwind.



In the coming period, the park will be further expanded with fun extras, such as a natural playground, a five-a-side football pitch, a fire pit, a BBQ area, a vegetable garden and a pick-your-own forest. These features are currently under construction or in the planning stage. It is therefore possible that not everything is quite finished yet.

Guest Access:

Park in the rear of the park in spaces numbered 9 to 40, next to the cottage number. There are also visitor parking spaces at the rear of the park, near the woods. The spaces next to the homes are for loading and unloading only. You can store bikes at the accommodation. Pets are not allowed. Your Boarding Pass has the practical info for arrival, parking and the key safe.



The Neighborhood:

You’ll be staying in Oud Ade, a village in South Holland within the municipality of Kaag en Braassem. It’s a water-rich region with lakes, canals and polders. From here, you can take to the water at the Kagerplassen or the Braassemermeer, ideal for sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or a trip in a sloop. Prefer to stay on dry land? Then walk or cycle along quiet dykes and polder roads towards Warmond and Kaageiland. Katwijk beach is a 20-minute drive away.



Places worth visiting include Leiden with its historic centre, around 8 km away. Warmond is approximately 4 km away, Kaageiland 6 km and Roelofarendsveen about 7 km.



Other Things to Note:

Rent a sloop at Olympia Charters in Warmond and cruise the Kagerplassen. Moor at Kaageiland for lunch at Tante Kee on the water, and pick a narrow reed-lined canal on the way back for extra atmosphere.



In the mood for city and nature under one roof? Drive to Leiden for Naturalis Biodiversity Center, then wander the Saturday market on the Nieuwe Rijn for fresh stroopwafels and flowers.



In spring, Keukenhof in Lisse makes a lovely day trip. Go early to beat the crowds and take a short drive past the bulb fields around Lisse and Hillegom for those colourful ribbons along the road.
