The Périgord is one of the most beautiful regions of France, with its splendid rolling countryside, typical architecture, 1001 châteaux and medieval villages rich in history. Children can enjoy canoeing on the Dordogne, visiting prehistoric caves such as Lascaux or the Proumeyssac chasm, visiting the Bergerac Aquarium (Creysse), horse-riding, cycling, etc. For the more adventurous, there's go-karting and ballooning over the Dordogne Valley, and for golf enthusiasts there's the magnificent Les Vigiers golf course just 10 minutes from our Château. And of course there's gastronomy and tasting of Bergerac wines, including our own vineyard, Château de Panisseau.

Beautiful setting and location, very, very peaceful. Easy access to Bergerac, Eymet, Duras and Sigoules. Close access to other vineyards for Monbazzillac, Bergerac red, white and rose and the rare Rosette.Plenty of walking/cycling country and village markets.
