Excellent 2 night stay. All staff extremely friendly and welcoming. This is an old property with old property problems, features and character; that said, our room was perfect for our needs, clean and comfortable. Our host Chris was friendly and seemed as though he would go out of his way to make your stay just right. Ate in pub both nights and the home cooked food by Bev was wonderful. You order breakfast, if you want it, the night before; we had basic breakfasts which were a good price and exactly what we wanted. Locals in the pub were friendly and along with Chris and Bev chatted and recommended places to go in the bar after food. A lovely stay overall. Thank You.

Lovely little village pub with lots of character landlord very helpful upon check in explained all features very well breakfast was exceptional and a very reasonable price would highly recommend staying here

A lovely quirky country pub. Good location for the North Yorkshire moors. Menu in the pub was sufficient, we had really good tasty food. Our room was fine, comfy bed, clean & good shower. There was tea & coffee making facilities, with a good supply of the same.

Stayed at Bay Horse for a day at Ripon Races, only 10 minutes drive from course. An old country inn, food was very good and landlord was a very nice person, room was nice and clean, bathroom a bit dated.
