Miserable stay—-but nice staff!!!!

Nice late night front desk and early morning front desk ——otherwise, not our place! We thought this property had over a 7 review which is ok in our book - but the bathroom smell of soaked in urine and the poor AC system was outrageously uncomfortable, it was a miserable night!!

You get what you pay for... and not even

This hotel was HORRIBLE! It was rundown, dirty and felt unsafe. This is no fault of Hotels.com, and I would encourage them to no longer represent this hotel to avoid negative associations with this hotel. I warn any traveler to avoid, avoid, avoid even if you see a good review. It can't be a serious review unless you have NO standards.

I was texted multiple times asking when I would arrive while trying to drive. The bathroom and sink area was not the cleanest (hair and dust all over), the toilet was leaking around the floor so much it seeped under the wall and the floor next to bed was even wet. I understand they may have been cleaning up property and area from storm damage, but still no excuss for not being clean in the room. And two women at breakfast held up everyone else from being able to get food by hogging the waffle maker, took all of the muffins, and most of the other food (legit walked out with 8 plates FULL of food and came back for more). Not sure if she could have said or done something about that, but nothing was said so breakfast was an inconvenience.

The staff were very nice but I wouldn’t bring my bags in leave anything on the floor and didn’t even take a shower. It was disgusting! They need to clean up garbage and fence that’s down on the grounds and renovate these rooms! No putting a bandaid on them just to try to make them look good. Never again! Very expensive MOTEL room.

Did not like not getting an extra hand towel the first day of arrival. Two people and one hand towel only. I asked for another towel and was not given any ,"attendant said there is not towels here in the lobby" Someone was in our room the second day of stay after ladies changed out 3 towels. The room door was left Open when we arrived back in the room in the afternoon!
