What an awkward stay....to say the least. Upon checking in I realized there was not an elevator to the second floor, for some, it might be fine but one of our family members can not do stairs easily. We managed, (my fault for my not checking). Not the cleanest of rooms, and the toilet wasn't flushing properly and was very dirty. The positive -the beds were comfortable. At breakfast...my husband and 9 y/o went down to get coffee and breakfast. The little refrigerator was broke so items like milk and yogurt were just sitting on the counter near warm surfaces. My husband told my son to grab 4 bananas for our family of 4 while he grabbed us 2 coffee's. All the tables were full, and as my son headed up the stairs a staff member yelled at my son for taking 4 bananas, pointing and yelling in front of everyone! How embarrassing for him. Our "free" breakfast consisted of just that. 4 bananas and 2 coffees. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Even the young man at the front desk, that was sat on the phone the whole time, was not helpful. We just left as soon as we could. Had that staff member not been talking to another guest about a complaint I would have made her apologize to my son. Never again.
