Peaceful, remote location in quiet forested setting. Charming, well-presented "western, rustic" decor. Very nice accommodations for very reasonable rates-- in current economy.

Property was beautiful location, clean and very romantic rooms. Quiet, and well arranged. Only issue was our tv/direct tv did not work, we Could not get any tv service.

The beds were uncomfortable. There was bugs all over the unit, ants every morning and night in the bathroom. The internet does not work. And the staff gave me conflicting check in information and room availability.

We arrived at 12:15, a little early so that was on us because we believed check in was at 1:00 according to the hotels.com website. Well when we contacted the hotel property manager our check in time was actually 3:00 and our room wasn’t ready. Totally fine, we were early anyway. So we left and came back at 3:00 and our room was ready, perfect. Room on the surface was clean and well maintained. It seemed like we were one of the only guests there. About 15-30min after we checked in I was in bed when our door burst open and a member of staff walked in. She apologized and left, but it made us uncomfortable. It seems like management wasn’t talking to the staff letting them know who was staying on the property. We brush it off and continue with our evening but are weary now. Right as we are turning in for the night at like 6:00/7:00 we hear someone at our front door again sweeping the patio and our stairs. We shut the blinds and curtains because it feels super intrusive, the room was already cleaned so idk why they would need to sweep again unless they didn’t know we were there. Upon checkout the next day under the bed we found someone’s old socks and Fritos bag. I relayed all this to management with no response. Overall a very uncomfortable situation and we felt we couldn’t rest easy.

They didn't say it was 25 mi from nothing. No gas station, restaurants, nothing and there was no television, there was zero staff there, we had to disturb one of the neighbors to get the Wi-Fi password. The television never would work. There's no railings for the steps we're underneath apartment. Basically it was very dangerous for me cuz I'm a handicapped. Did they ever type? There was a game room that you could lock unlock. You couldn't play and if they'd let us know this in advance that there was virtually nothing there. No gas station, restaurants nothing and they advertised a pool. There was no pool. The rooms were very nice and clean. That's all I can say about it. I just blew off the second night and rented a motel in town
