Sandy beach getaway

Modern cottage with gorgeous private Cuba-like sandy beach (one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Ontario). Private sandy play ground, spacious patio, finished basement [with toys, table tennis, 100" home theater system].

We've designed the cottage to share time with family - it is ideal for extended family or traveling with friends.

Kids can enjoy a soft sand beach (300m from the cottage) and a large, private sandy play-area next to the patio.

Finished basement with kid's toys, table tennis is ideal for those rainy days. A projector with DVD player, Netflix and surround sound, offers you 100" home theater experience for evening movie or rainy day entertainment.

Top floor bedroom can be used to enjoy a partial view of the sunset, as a bedroom, or an office. It does not have a door however - see the pictures of the circular stairs.

The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has a queen size bed. There is room for another inflatable queen size bed in that room if you want to bring one. The "kids" room on the 2nd floor has 3 single beds.

5th bedroom is in the basement with a sofa bed that doubles as home theater room - that is, if you use this space as a bedroom, you cannot use the projector/TV. Privacy curtain room dividers create a personal space when you use it as a bedroom - please see pictures.

The bedroom on the main floor is very small. Has a queen size bed that pretty much take up most of the space of that room.

We rent exclusively to families and typically limit to 8 adults + children (please message us if you want an exception). The location is a quiet area with neighbors that live and work there, therefore the place it absolutely not suitable for parties and large groups of friends. Suitable for family getaways only.


Awend Park makes a great excursion as well as Midland and Penetanguishene. Check out Emlvale Jungle Zoo, Tiny Marsh, Saint Marie Among the Hurons, Martyr's Shrine, Rounds Ranch and Lepage Fish Sales for some amazing fresh fish for your BBQing pleasure. Wasaga beach (just a few minute drive away) as a hip beach scene, night entertainment etc. Christian Island, accessible by a ferry is an Indian reserve and offers a few unique beaches as well.

Public double court Tennis Courts are available just 2.5km away

The kitchen is fully equipped - pots and pans, plates, utensils, cups, glasses etc.

For bathroom has toilet paper, hair dryer soap. Please bring you own towels and personal essentials.

For the bedrooms, please bring you own sheets, blankets, towels etc. Just bare mattresses with a mattress protectors are provided.

Rental is 7 night minimum from mid June until Sep 1.
