We only stayed 1 night, unfortunately there was a very early 2am fire alarm, and we had to stand outside in the rain for 45 mins. The beds were very soft, the interiors need modernisation. The bathroom was clean, but again needed modernising. It is convenient for our need, but the stay was to reduce the long journey to Cornwall, and prevent a very early start on a Saturday, unfortunately the fire alarm counteracted the reason for the stay as we were all very tired the next day.

Stayed the weekend for a wedding, the service for the wedding was really good, the food we had was nice, best Brownie I’ve ever had. Rooms are very dated, had squashed flies on the wall. I do believe that the rooms are being renovated next year

Upon arrival we were waiting at reception a while before being served, a young girl came over and completely ignored us then walked off again, until we went to enquire if someone could check us in and they advised they had called someone. (She could’ve just told us that rather than walking by and ignoring us). The room was clean. No real complaints there at all. A fan in the room would have been ideal as it was very warm but otherwise all good. Breakfast was good.

This was a very low cost hotel, and I had limited expectations. BUT - room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pleasant bar and restaurant (with reasonable prices). Plenty of free parking. Overall, exceptional hotel at the price.

The bathroom is in dire need of refurbishing Shower in an absolutely aweful state, and this was their superior room. Lamp shades are old and need changing. Furniture need repainting. Carpets need cleaning or changing.

Good hotel

Nice hotel, close to town with lots of parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay again. The only negative would be the shower head way to small to have a shower under.
