Nice modern refurbished hotel. Will not stay here again due to noise from Bierhaus in the courtyard, then kitchen noises until an hour after closing. No elevator.

We Hope to be Back

What a great experience we had at The Maq. The reception from Ivory was great (and so was the cocktail!) We were able to store our bicycles in a locked compound. The food in the Bear House Restaurant was wonderful. All in all, this is a great, funky place to stay. The entire staff were welcoming and friendly.

Great bed! No coffee in room, no a/c, no small frig. Coffee you can purchase downstairs but coffee shop doesn’t open till 7:30. And you get an ice chest. Beautiful place, but it’s glamping! Would like a few more amenities, esp. coffee maker or open coffee shop earlier.

Very convenient for our overnight in Tofino. Comfortable beds and coffee bar in lobby with light breakfast selection. Short walk takes you to many restaurants and down to pier to see stunning sunsets.

Nice spot. Hotel is average, rooms are ok however not a place I’d stay again, it’s very basic with noisy rooms. Staff were incredible. Location in town is great. I’d stay in one of the upscale resorts just outside of the town next time. Adriana’s across the street is a must! Excellent pizza!
